Riding in light rain showers was no problem, as apart from 200m of rough as slippery track it was all sealed roads.
We stopped for coffee in a small village where we were the news of the week! One of the locals shouted us coffee. All were amused. I=This was the last that we saw of the rain for the day. It got clearer and warmer and so we pressed on the make Samugheo for lunch,
The riding was spectacular with broad vistas of farmland for the first 45 kilometers and then a down and (steep) up for the last 15 in forest, over a couple of streams.
We had a pasta lunch, then I went for a walk to the textile museum as Keith and Ross rested (I think).
Why is Aga Khan's name on this quilt. The Aga Khan was heavily involved though patronage and investment in the revival of traditional Sardinian crafts including the weaving of Samugheo.
I skipped dinner and had a good night's sleep.
