Before that though, I climbed the hill behind the museum for some excellent views.
The museum had a section on the general history of human habitation in Sardegna then the development of arts and crafts and two galleries devoted to costumes across the ages and across the various parts of the island. Very impressive!
We had a fun lunch at a streetside bar - having to steadfastly refuse a second or third glass of local grappa (quite illegal)! Our host was a barrel of fun and the food and drink was good.
For this evening, thanks to Keith's organisation we are going our for suckling pig - a regional specialty and at the fond desire of Ross!
* The rest days can be more punishing than the ride days!
