Checkin and boarding took far longer than it should but I was treated to some great scenery on the flight.
First of all, the Po plain, then the coast near Genova then Corsica and finally Sardegna.

Getting to the hotel was a simple taxi ride on a lovely sunny day. Our host made us welcome and offered me a room overlooking the street, which of course is noisy but promises to be a great vantage point for tomorrow's Sant Efisio procession.
Some late drama - the bike shop seems to have lost the knowledge of our bike hire arrangements. So I had quick scurry around and found another hire place with similar bikes that are ready to go on Saturday.
